1. What are the Casas del Saber
The Casas del Saber are ASCEP's program that comprehensively accompanies young people in the process of leaving and those who have left the ICBF state protection system. Through a pedagogical, housing, and self-sustaining model, the program articulates five intervention areas with four thematic training lines, strengthening autonomy, emotional well-being, and leadership capacity to build solid, sustainable, and meaningful life projects.

2. Participation modalities
The program offers two ways to participate, depending on each young person's situation.
With housing service
For young people without a support network or stable housing conditions. They access a shared physical house (maximum 8 people per home) as a safe, pedagogical, and community space, with stays of up to 24 months and progressive, planned graduation.
Without housing service
For young people with basic housing conditions already solved who need accompaniment in their graduation process. Includes psychosocial, socio-educational, and labor insertion support and thematic training.
3. Five intervention areas
The program's operational base is organized into five areas that accompany all young people, residents and non-residents alike.
Basic Needs Coverage
Guarantees the material conditions for daily life and well-being.
Comprehensive Psychosocial Accompaniment
Continuous psychological and social support, cross-cutting to all lines.
Socio-Educational Accompaniment
Training and development of life skills.
Socio-Labor Insertion
Preparation for the labor market and entrepreneurship.
Resource Coordination and Advocacy
4. Four thematic lines
Communities of practice where young people learn by doing, build collective projects, and develop skills for life and work in specific sectors.
Sciences of Knowledge
Train community researchers capable of reading, documenting, and transforming their social environment.
Technology and Innovation
Develop technological creativity and innovation aimed at solving real problems with social impact.
Art and Culture
Foster identity, artistic expression, and the development of creative projects with cultural and economic value.
Human Development and Leadership
Promote emotional well-being, the life project, and community leadership as axes of social transformation.
5. Graduation is a process
The transition to adult life is organized into three progressive phases, with follow-up after graduation.
Initial psychosocial assessment, construction of the individual itinerary, joining the thematic line, document regularization, and short-term goal setting.
Active development in the thematic line, training in the Independent Life School, internships, network strengthening, and building the productive project.
Personalized graduation plan, consolidation of the labor project or entrepreneurship, progressive transfer of responsibilities, and post-graduation follow-up at 3, 6, and 12 months.
6. Structure and capacity
The model relies on a clear structure: houses for up to 8 young people, lines with up to 12 participants, thematic leaders, a psychosocial team, a network of tutors and mentors, and general coordination responsible for inter-institutional articulation.
