We are a group of people who graduated from the Colombian State Protection System who, based on our own experience, have come together to contribute to the transformation and improvement of how the State, through its operators, addresses the care, protection and restoration of rights of children, adolescents and young people in the country.
We recognize the support received from the State, but we also see the need to evaluate and improve certain aspects of the protection system to better serve young people transitioning to independence.
Leaving the protection system is not a solitary journey. We have built a community where graduates support each other, share experiences, and grow together.
Since 2019, we have been working tirelessly to transform how the State approaches the care and protection of children, adolescents, and young people in Colombia.
Today, ASCEP is recognized nationally as a leading voice in the transformation of the protection system, advocating for the rights and well-being of young graduates.
To accompany and strengthen young graduates of the Colombian State Protection System in their transition to autonomous adult life, through training programs, psychosocial support, and advocacy for public policies that guarantee their rights and well-being.
A Colombia where every young person leaving the protection system has the tools, support networks, and opportunities needed to build their life project with autonomy and dignity.
To be the driving force behind a protection system that truly serves the comprehensive development of children, adolescents, and young people, ensuring they have real opportunities for a dignified life.

Un grupo de egresados del sistema de proteccion estatal se organiza para construir un proyecto colectivo que transforme la forma en que el Estado aborda el egreso.
Establecemos vinculos con actores politicos y organizaciones internacionales como UNICEF, OIM y USAID para impulsar la agenda del egreso.
Ganamos el primer lugar del Premio Civico por nuestro trabajo en liderazgo juvenil y procesos formativos con egresados del sistema de proteccion.
Impulsamos el proyecto de Ley de Egreso, construido colectivamente con egresados de todo el pais y respaldado por la senadora Lorena Rios.
Se sanciona la Ley Hijos del Estado, creando el Programa Nacional de Acompanamiento Integral al Egresado del ICBF.
